The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the Number One Bank in the UAE, launched a new branch (Sky Park Plaza branch) in Abu Dhabi International Airport, Terminal 3, taking the total number of NBAD‘s branches across the UAE to 110 branches.
The NBAD branch in Terminal 3 is the Bank’s second in Abu Dhabi International Airport. The two branches provide valuable services to passengers, aviation employees, and visitors around the clock. The new branch has been outfitted with state-of-the-art technologies enabling it to provide even more efficient and effective services to customers.
“NBAD presence in Terminal 1 and 3 at Abu Dhabi International Airport reinforces NBAD‘s brand and brings superior services and products to millions of travelers,” said Suvo Sarkar, the General Manager of Consumer & Elite Banking at NBAD. “NBAD provides customer-centric service that reestablishes our reputation as the UAE’s flagship bank and allows it to be recognised as the World’s Best Arab Bank.”
Abu Dhabi International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the region, handling around 10 million passengers annually, a figure that is increasingly growing because of Abu Dhabi’s rising influence, popularity, and hosting of international events. Terminal 3 opened in early 2009, raising the Airport’s capacity to 11 million passengers annually.
“NBAD considers itself the core part of the DNA of Abu Dhabi and it supports Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, which envisions the Emirate becoming a global destination for cultural tourism and businesses,” said Abdullah Al Hosani, the Head of Branches & Consumer Banking Transformation at NBAD. “Therefore, it is especially important that NBAD is visible at the very gateway of entry to Abu Dhabi.”
“NBAD has strategised to double its domestic banking revenues in the next three years. Thus, the Bank will continue to expand its branch network into key strategic locations,” Mr. Al Hosani said.
