Injazat maps IT career paths for Emirati youths at Zayed University IT Competition



Injazat Data Systems outlined career development opportunities particularly in the IT sector for young UAE Nationals during the Zayed University IT Competition held last April 28, 2011 at the university grounds.

Zayed universityZayed University’s College of Information Technology and the Software Engineering Research Laboratory (GELOG) in Montreal, Canada fielded their undergraduate students to compete in website application design, software evaluation, and IT project development during the event.

Competition sponsor Injazat took the opportunity to discuss the details of its internship agreement with Zayed University through The Injazat Institute (Ti2), a career development institution. Injazat will immerse Emirati students in real-time programs to enable them to put academic theories into practice. The focused internship programs will cover applications, network and security and work place operations. The initiative forms part of Injazat‘s continued efforts to support the development of future leaders who are highly-skilled, productive and professional workers as outlined in Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.

“There is still a significant gap between the strong potential of young UAE Nationals and the career opportunities available to them within the private sector, which our partnership with Zayed University aims to fill. Injazat‘s Ti2 initiative has been instrumental in raising the job proficiencies and leadership skills of professionals across the UAE. The institute’s career development programs enable true professional development by maximizing technical and business knowledge and honing professional traits and operational experience. Ti2 employs a ‘blended approach’ to learning and also uses continuous assessment as well as accreditation and certification to sustain personal and professional growth.
