Hazza Bin Zayed attends workshop

H.H Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council has attended a workshop titled “Challenges to Emiratization and Recruitment 2011”.

Challenges to Emiratization and Recruitment 2011The workshop was organized by the Secretariat General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council (ADTC) at Yas Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

Present at the workshop was H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.

The workshop is aimed at bringing together decision makers to discuss the current situation of Emiratisation, make recommendations to relevant authorities and follow up on implementing the same in accordance with the targets set out in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. It also provides input to the enacting laws and legislations on Emiratisation to facilitate job seeking by nationals.

Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council Mohammed Al Bawardi, in a speech at the workshop said “Emiratisation has always been a top priority for the federal government and an essential ingredient of strategic planning.” “Emiratisation is today a national goal for the UAE because it is receives continuous support from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who always seeks to promote the share of national workforce in the country’s labour market, boost the loyalty of all nationals through the creation of national resources that are capable of leading the process of development in our dear country,” Al Bawardi added.

“Emiratisation is also part and parcel of our national security,” he stressed.

Citing recent figures by Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), Al Bawardi said the GDP growth is projected to be between 6 and 7% over the coming twenty years. The sectors to drive the growth, he added, are energy, hydrocarbon industry, financial services, insurance, tourism, hospitality, travel, media telecom, property development and healthcare.

“The duty of all governmental and semi-governmental departments is to share the responsibility for the current situation of Emiratisation,” he added.
